Nayland Scaffold prides itself on its Health and Safety procedures. We have met the Tertiary level requirements for ACC Workplace Safety Management Practices.
We are committed to creating a Drug and Alcohol free environment in the workplace and all staff are required to undergo Pre-Employment Testing, and Employees are subject to random testing for the presence of drugs and/or alcohol, and post incident testing.
Inspection of our Equipment:
At Nayland we ensure that all scaffold equipment is inspected regularly to identify items that are unsuitable or fail to comply with relevant standards. We use the supplier’s or manufacturer’s guidelines to determine the compliance of scaffolding equipment for further use.
We adhere to the Best Practice Guidelines for Scaffolding in New Zealand.
We provide sufficient resources to maintain all crane equipment to the required safety standard and to immediately attend to repairs where safety could be compromised.

Our Team – Scaffolders
Our staff are NZQA trained scaffolders. All staff undertake regular training in:
- Height Safety NZQA 15757
- Confined Space
- Hazard Management
- Site Safe
- First Aid
- 6 monthly Rescue from Harness
- Site Specific Requirements
Our Team – Crane Operators
All Nayland Scaffold operators are fully qualified to NZQA standards and are amongst the most highly skilled and trained in the industry.
